  1. A complete snap shot of their current financial situation was put together…so they could understand their true costs in each of their practices.
  2. By understanding the true profitability of each patient and the productivity of each team member, they could make accurate and positive business decisions.
  3. A new accountant was employed who quickly helped catch up the directors and personal accounts with the Australian Tax Office to be up to date from a regulation point of view.
  4. They also helped to negotiate payment terms for overdue debts.
  5. Then the priority was to ensure the owners could see real time financial statements in order to make immediate and lasting decisions about the business.
  6. The bank worked with the accountant to re-structure loans and look for opportunities to bundle loans together to help with cash flow and debt reduction for their business.
  7. They started to shift their thinking in order to see that if they coached and mentored their team, they could serve more patients and prioritize their work time for important business building activities, rather than being stuck in the day-to-day hands on work.
  8. The next step was to either let a few team members go…or…get them all on the phones ringing and activating old patients. Mark and Sean took the lead by coaching their team with phone scripts and booking in of old patients that they had not seen in a long time.
  9. This allowed the team to re-connect with their old patients, whilst Mark and Sean went out and connected with some new Joint Venture partners such as doctors, schools, gyms, etc. as a source for new patients.
  10. After engaging a new bookkeeper, all financials were up to date. As a result Sean and Mark came up with their vision for the next 14 months, which they shared with their team so that they too could buy into where the business was going and how they could add massive value to the patients of the practices. This also allowed the focus that was needed to eliminate the unproductive work that was being completed.

It has been the 4-It process that has freed them both up to hit turnover and profit targets well beyond their wildest dreams, ensuring both directors achieved their personal and business financial goals.

In under 9 months they increased their overall revenue by 31% and their net, take-home profit by an astonishing 58%.

On a personal level, family and friends have noticed a major difference in their attitudes and outlook on life. One owner has a more open and honest relationship with his wife and their relationship is stronger as a result.
