1. Empower them to be great in their role – Don’t interfere in their work but allow and motivate them to grow and do a great job. If you keep on micromanaging them, then what’s the point of hiring them in the first place?
2. Clarify the role – This gives them direction and focus to work on the things that they are meant to be doing. Otherwise, they’ll be lost and continue to do what they think they should be doing. They’ll be unsure about their role and purpose which will jeopardise your business growth.
3. Hold them accountable – They need to hit certain targets and it’s your responsibility to make them understand what these are. You both need to work towards the same targets in order for your business to meet goals and be successful.
